Sold our ram for Bitcoin

Every year or two the Katahdin rams get rotated out for fresh genetics. This keeps the gene pool of our small flock diverse and allows us to keep our best ewes.

This year it was time to move our ram Yakul on to another homestead. Thankfully, we met his new owners from attending Bitcoin meetups and were able to sell the ram for Bitcoin.

Helping others in the community to build their living capital creates more resilience in the whole. The longer I participate in the Bitcoin network the more I see it as not only money but as a foundation for cultural development. This new culture that is being built on Bitcoin needs to be equipped with a diverse balance of capital (in regards to the 8 forms). To be sovereign this capital is a requirement and a culture compromised of individuals striving for this sovereignty creates an incentive for cooperation.
