It could do a better job than most do-all-the-things clients out there. For example, you could open it and it would show you a kind of a dashboard with aggregates about reactions to your notes, and ordered replies instead of just a stream of "someone tagged you in this comment but you won't know what comment is until you click or you won't be able to read what they said until you click and if you click you'll lose track of where you were on the list of notifications".
