The only ops stuff that's going to survive is going to be building for small companies with no budget/vision for IT/automation/infrastructure where you'll be stuck gluing together and firefighting shit for years to come or hyper scalers where AI wasn't yet trained on highly complex scaling issues that aren't on the internet but since they're all training their internal models on their own code as well, that clock's ticking as well.
