Ghandi was not who you think he was. He defended the caste system by using the fasting-till-death protest when the UK wanted to give some political power to the Untouchables. He was also into war and violence until he calculated that peaceful protest would play better in the western media. He also slept with naked teenage girls (though apparently he didn't do anything with them).
