Here is the story of how my site, greatbooksreport.com, came to be: After 9/11, I relied on The Drudge Report for breaking news. But

over time, I grew weary of fake news and shifted my focus to more

important things. I became a parent and started mapping out all the classic books I wanted my kids

to read. That led to a 188-page Google doc filled with links to great

authors, books, and resources. In December 2022, I discovered Chat GPT and Replit. These services made it easy for me to create a new website in the style of The Drudge Report, focused

on the Western Canon, Bitcoin, AI, and more. Coding the site with the help of AI was simple

and took only about 12 hours. It loads like a static site, but includes a simple publishing system using Python within Replit so that I can update it frequently. Now, I use the site to curate articles, videos, and podcasts that I want to engage with. It's a one-stop-shop for intellectual exploration. If I need a podcast to listen to before sleep, a video to watch at lunch, or an article to

read while checking out at the grocery store, it's all there. I hope others will find
