i don't have a problem with muting. the blocking is what's dumb. well, on twitter they're both dumb because mutes still show up in your comment section with "muted user" so it triggers you to click on it to see who said it and what they said. if mute was truly muted, you wouldn't see any indication of that person. imo, this is done to keep you engaged.
