You moved from Americans must be so dumb as to think they can grow rubber plantations, as your reason tariffs are bad policy, to talking about exporting inflation?
Why make arguements that are stupid only to change the arguement to something else?
If you want to talk about exporting inflation then say that in your OP.
The entire point of the tariff policy is to get everyone to drop the their tariffs.
The US has been exporting inflation for decades.
Instead of making stuff - like having rubber plantations and making rubber yourselves - you rely on global supply chains and rely on making fake money and sending that abroad in exchange for actual stuff
Those global supply chains are lubricated entirely by USD.
These 2 things go hand-in-hand. If I have to explain such basic shit to you then you don’t understand enough about economics or global trade to even be commenting on this issue.

No it’s not. Many of the countries don’t even fucking have tariffs on the US.
The entire point is Trump wants to reduce trade imbalances, he wants to secure the USD sphere and he’s doing that by forcing countries into economic and security arrangements in exchange for lowering tariff barriers.
