To be fair, I could see myself accidentally falling into that trap. It's a very Western, convert thing to do. You become so excited that you want icons everywhere and carry that consumerist mindset along with you without thinking. You make the faith into a brand because our lives are brands. When you asked if it was an icon I did a quick inventory of all the coasters in the house 🤣

But now what about Orthodox shirts?

I’m still in my Inquiry phase, and admittedly spent too much time as an Internet Orthodox, so I see myself in that statement. Like I’m a fan of the right team!

I realize the error in that and working towards becoming a catechumen.

In regard to the shirts, I’d probably wear one ☺️
