I work with a kid who is fresh out of college w/ an economics degree.

Believes the following

Inflation is good - ideally 5%

Hyperinflation is better than deflation

Fiat is the superior currency even to a gold or asset backed currency.

I knew we were in trouble when I heard Scott Adams, who likes to tout his business and economics training and experience, speculating that maybe the Fed *could* just keep printing money forever at the QE pace, without any consequences. 😬

They truly believe the Fed has the power and ability. Once the Fed says it’s okay, the markets will adjust back, that is how it works.

I’m sure it’s taught everywhere. No wonder so few people can see #bitcoin for what it is.
