We are on an economic middle ground here. My wife feels the same as your husband. So every time I don't buy lunch or junk food, I put it into the asset. I am cash-poor with the farm. We bought a small amount in 2021, I have not been asked how it's doing. As she has no interest.

We have a "don't ask, don't tell" policy concerning Bitcoin, as it just upsets him to hear about it, but at some point, he's going to be like, "Umm... Why is this money being transfered to some account in Switzerland every month?" and my stacking days will be over.

I switched my pay deposit go into a Bitcoin “bank/exchange” they have a digital visa that pays 1% back in ₿ and I settle all bills in fiat, with fiat holdings in the account. This was my “smash buy” the last of my liquidity the day before payday.
