Yes, lots of friendly acquaintances out there.
Indeed there are. Out of those 5 true friends I would say only 3 are my best friends, though. We've known each other forever.

I'll go with 3 too, sadly a quite a few close friendships don't last the test of time so the list has been shrinking.
People develop in different ways and grow apart. It happens.
Yeah, and life takes you far away sometimes. There's a saying, "the eyes that don't see each other forget each other", I think there's some truth to it.
