As far as I understand the facts, it all seems very much like any loser could have pulled this off. It doesn’t take much training with a rifle to make the shot.
I’m a little perplexed about “engraving” on the cartridges…that seems…tricky and harder than a sharpie marker.
But that aside, everything else is pretty simple for anyone who has shot a dozen or so rounds with a rifle at a target.
That's true, it is possible for most to pull off, but I don't think that that's what happened.

Agreed. I’d be a little nervous using an electric engraver on a gunpowder filled cartridge. Not that a cartridge exploding would kill you at any distance, but you probable need to be at least a few inches away to avoid harm to your fingers/hands.
This is another thing, did he supposedly engrave that himself? Or was it professionally engraved?
I sort of doubt they were engraved at all. I don’t doubt messages were written on them though. But I’m only willing to believe what I see, and so far I’ve seen nothing.

Apparently he bought the gun and ammo from a sporting goods store outside of his state. So he bought the ammo already loaded and set. Which means, if he engraved it post delivery.
Given he didn't have the tools to empty and refill, how the fuck did he do that?
Also, those engravings are too on the nose propaganda like how tf did they know the arrows means to " call in a bomb in helldivers 2". Could have been Hadoken or something like infinite cash in GTA 1.
