Is it anarchy though? Bitcoin always seemed more Libertarian than anything to me.

Oooo read some Rothbard. libertarian philosophy IS anarchy. Anarchy = no rulers not no rules, and libertarianism is the idea that society should not allow individuals or groups the right to initiate force/violence.
