What the hell is Blossom?
And can we rename nostr to Blossom? πΌπ€
You could host your own #Blossom instance.
Maybe nostr:nprofile1qqszv6q4uryjzr06xfxxew34wwc5hmjfmfpqn229d72gfegsdn2q3fgpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qg6waehxw309ahx7um5wgh8g6r9wdsk6etrv96zu6t09uqsuamnwvaz7tmwdaejumr0dshs9h69jx can point you to the right thing.

I think it's just a server to host files of any kind. You can self host it
Is it a nostr innovation or is it nothing to do with nostr? π€
Most likely, the files are stored on relays
I was wrong, it's not storage in relays. You sign storage with your Nostr keys
I know nothing. I'll just assume it's cool lol π
Lol π
It's just Nostry stuff, so it's cool
I just know you can host files on a publicly accessible server
Can blossom help save archivedotorg π€ #asknostr
Think of it as a cloud drive where you save stuff using your keys instead of a username and password
It's publicly accessible
I dunno much but the techies are very horny about it ππ
If the infrastructure running blossom grows, yes.
But isn't archive an open source project already? It'd probably be ideal to build a plug-in for archive to use blossom as a backend, then folks could save what they want on their personal blossom servers (get this into start9) and then a nostr based front end for archive could be spun up, you plug in the url and it searches the various blossom servers in your wot and presents you the results, would be ideal to charge 1 sat per page or something to cover infrastructure cost.
