Hey Jan. Twitter is a social app. Nostr is an interoperable protocol meaning many apps can talk to one another. Nostr is not limited to the Twitter use case so in those terms it’s going to be much bigger than Twitter.

I agree, you are right, the point I'm trying to deliver is that the usecase of nostr overlays the usecase of Twitter and can move some users to this platform, although the apps built on nostr are for now much more similar to Twitter than to Instagram. For example, it has a bigger potential to overtake some users from Twitter than from Instagram. But as time goes on, there could be an app similar to ig built on nostr. But I totally agree that the technology behind nostr is different from Twitter's.

Oh yeah, we’ll suck up some of the other platform users for sure 😉
