God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness." (Gen 1:26)

God doesn't [need] talk to himself, he's not insane.

The Father, Son and Spirit are all knowing anyway.

This is the first glimpse of the Divine Council.

God talking to the other sons of God [Bene Elohim].

This is why it says "Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." (Heb 13:2)

They don't look like us, instead, we look like them.

We are all imagers of God.
