I could have used this for school

Note this is only on flat surfaces (ie. Euclidean geometry).

If you drew a triangle on the surface of the Earth using the equator and two lines of longitude that meet at the North Pole you would get a triangle with more than 180 degrees. They each meet the equator at 90 degrees and have a nonzero angle at the pole.
