Being a furry means you're into a hobby, like gaming or playing the keyboard.

Anti-furry racism does not exist, as 'furry' means an anthropomorphic animal character or a person who enjoys that content. None of these are related to race.

Now about relating furry with mental illness, well... Being a furry is not a mental illness by itself, but somehow the community got deeply flooded with mentally ill members, which I do not support.
