There seems to be a connection to womens' jobs. Any woman who works close to the public, like in sales, waitressing, nursing, cashiering, etc. will get hit on a lot just because of the amount of men she's exposed to and her need to be friendly. They talk to dozens or hundreds of men every day and smile at all of them.

Bookkeepers, engineers, backoffice workers, and cleaning ladies... Not so much.
