If you think what Israel is doing in Gaza is not kosher, I agree with you. But it is not as simple as it might seem at first glance. Shouldn’t the local government, aka Hamás, be responsible for evacuating civilians? Why are they not negotiating the rescue of their own people? You know, using civilians as human shields is a war crime as well.

I think that you are misinterpreting it. Israel was bribing Hamás for years, but that does not make Hamás compromised and/or Israel's tool. It makes Israelis useful idiots who believed that peace can be bought from the fanatics.

“Bribing” doesn’t cover it. Israel CREATED hamas. Israel CREATED ISIS and ISIL and the taliban. Sure they did a lot of that with the help of the CIA. But “bribing” is severely downplaying the reality of the situation in order to still attempt to create sympathy for Israel.
I think the opposite about you, to be honest. Look at Netanyahu, he is the prototype of an inept populist. Yes, Mossad pulls off some pretty cool stuff. The exploding pagers, that was something. But I do not buy that they are orchestrating whole nations and governments to seemingly attack them, but in fact to do their bidding. That is unlikely, if not completely impossible.

And there is no credible evidence of Hamas using human shields (Israel would Hannibal Doctrine civilian shields anyway, so it would be useless and Hamas know it).
But lots of footage of Israeli soldiers forcing civilians to enter mined areas ahead of them, to defuse IEDs at gunpoint, and to stand in front of troops.
