“Everyone on earth a billionaire!” — Funny for several reasons. If they could feasibly mine it, it would be an interesting case study in how money works… nostr:note1js6wtwyvp5nzl6sezpz4jjt557ehx3h7ey2aa8wgnct5a4fyuuwqhueta4

Well, I guess the whole world would be Switzerland 😅.
Anyways, even if this would hypothetically enrich the whole world, but also cause inflation, in this case it would probably be good because most people would be able to afford the new higher standard of living.
Assuming it was evenly distributed (unlikely), it wouldn’t do anything positive. Numbers would nominally change but effectively meaningless in buying power change
Ahh.. so this is how we get those streets paved with gold. Makes since now. Goodbye scarcity. Hello utility. Billionaires my foot. 😂
Since, scents, sense, cents. Dammit.
lol but that’s an interesting point: if all that gold was magically transported to earth making it as common as copper or iron, it would be a boon to industrial applications. Gold would be used in electronics and places where the increased conductivity and corrosion resistance would be a marginal benefit but isn’t currently viable because of costs associated with gold’s scarcity and monetary use
That's no moon!
