Interesting! š§ thanks man, guess daily boot ups to test it will be an addition to my routine before leaving the house. I appreciate you sharing this with me
nostr:npub1hr3mu7550x5fk2s6ruljm9qsuj4pzgu0amcv3na6r5et4fzhr5rquc9ygp hereās a friend that had an issue with his Q. Heās not the only one Iāve seen with it either. I know him and he kept it put away until he needed it and it wouldnāt work. I like and use ColdCard so Iām not trying to throw shade. But I wouldnāt wait until I needed it to use it. Iād periodically test to make sure itās firing up. You can look back through his feed to see how it was handled by Coinkite as well. Wasnāt the best customer experience. nostr:note1gd2e06th8l78hd9x2ms3kgu92ezyeav2l234zy7yc7rz6rp4urdsjj57mq

I have a mk1v as backup. I think it would be wise to either have a cheaper mk1v as a backup or another q. Going back to the mk1v after the q is terrible. The q is so much better
Itās why I got the Q to begin with š BUT like I stated previously it is one of several keys. Not my only way to access the funds. May get a second one because tbh I like the q a lot. But rn mine is running well.
How long did you have yours before the issue came up?
was the latest software running on it?
