The rumors are real. There's a recommended speed of 130km/h and an average speed is around 140km/h. So overall people are still driving in the normal speed limit even there's no limit.

Not sure if correct but I think there’s an insurance cover limit so can go as fast as you like as a friend demonstrated in his Porsche but over certain speed, if you do have a prang, it’s on you
