I’d settle for being able to search my own notes in Damus.
I know this has been asked and answered before, but is there anyway to search for a previous post by a string of text in nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 or any other client?

You can! There is a search box on the home timeline when you pull down. We are going to be improving the ux on this
