Do share decent food places in Toronto. I struggled when I was there frequently. It’s the city that made me realize what foodie towns/cities I had the good fortune to live.
what kind of food do you like? i’ve got two little ones now so i mostly cook at home these days!
I like a wide variety. The thing I struggled with in Toronto was that I didn’t find many great cheap eats. Other cities I lived in had copious options and it was frequently easier to eat out than cook at home. I’ve been told the area I was in was part of the problem. Apartment was near Queen and Spadina. Above a Second Cup no less. I can’t stand the smell of a Second Cup. Shutter just thinking about it and it’s been years.
haha i hear ya. it’s expensive out here, especially in that neighbourhood. the junction and leslieville have some good quality spots, but not super cheap. there’s a ton of great, affordable chinese food in markham and richmond hill.
i live right outside the financial district and (almost) everything is overpriced or caters to tourists (usually both).
I haven’t been back in years. Was just there because of a long distance relationship. Y’all can keep the ex and the second cups. Would love to come back for TIFF though. Also I missed all the touristy stuff. I’d still like to go to the shoe museum.
I’m leaving Toronto soon, any places you’d go to say your goodbye?
