The Easter Ham.

Why celebrate the risen Lord, a Jewish man, with a massive hunk of pork?

It ain’t exactly kosher.

God told Peter that all meat is clean, and honey baked ham is awesome.

That was in Acts, after Jesus left. Before that Jesus was operating under kosher laws

I don't think the ham thing started until later

Yes, but why ham? Why not a massive ribeye?

people can't agree on how the ribeye is cooked. it gets divisive.

Lulz

So if I said, put it on a pan with some beef tallow and turn it until it's done, I could get into a fistfight?

for sure. you might fight over the type of pan or whether you season it or if you use butter. don't even mention temperature.

Oh, but honey baked ham is most definitely awesome.

Don’t even get me started on the foreskin 😂

Depends how long you smoked it

😳

You eat the ham not because it makes sense, but because it is delicious. And that's what Jesus would have wanted.

It’s a good question… but an even better sandwich 😁

My family also often eats lamb for Easter. It’s been about 50/50 having lamb or ham on Easter my whole life.

Lamb makes sense.

Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.”

14 “Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.”

15 The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”
