Saint Liviu Galaction was a priest in Cluj during World War II. He fearlessly sheltered Jewish people from the Nazis, hiding them in his own home and church. When the authorities discovered his actions, he was arrested, tortured, and ultimately martyred for his unwavering commitment to protecting the vulnerable. He died defending the innocent, embodying the true spirit of Christian love and sacrifice.
