Going back to Lightning sats from Liquid is a lot cheaper
Swapped from Lightning to Liquid with @npub1psm37hke2pmxzdzraqe3cjmqs28dv77da74pdx8mtn5a0vegtlas9q8970 and it cost me an entire 537 satoshis and 5 minutes of my life

Indeed, its great for rebalancing a channel, I can't wait for an easier way to open channels from Liquid too
I've never closed a channel as yet. Correct me if I'm wrong but when the channel is closed the balance of sats get "back on chain". It wouldn't be possible to have those sats be taken directly back into Liquid without 1st going into an on chain wallet which then needs to be swapped for Liquid? I know the definition of closing a channel is settling the balance on chain but I can see on chain fees being much elevated in the future so having the ability to skip those fees would make sense.
I might be thinking about it all wrong but a lightning layer built on top of Liquid where payments into establishing and closing channels all settle back to L-BTC rather than onchain a possibility. Or is Liquid already a feasible p2p layer as it is now with lower fees and speedy p2p transactions?
