The person who is illegally residing in the country tried to obtain an ID card from the Interior Ministry's office in Netivot under false pretenses. The office worker suspected something and called the police, and the story turned into a dangerous chase. The defendant hit one of the officers with his fists, tried to run him over and knocked him to the ground. He eventually fled on foot to one of the neighborhoods in the city of Rahat, and was caught by the police.
