I start to understand what honor means. It‘s like money. If people believe in it, it has worth. A whole society can operate on that. It‘s just more difficult to mine, save and transfer.

Now a question for the Bitcoiners: is honor subject to inflation?

David Graeber's book "Debt" pretty much revolves around this concept. It has some gross factual errors though documented elsewhere so caveat emptor.

That's why the German version of the Lord's Prayer says "forgive us our debts, as we forgive those who are indebted to us".

It doesn't just refer to money.
