Every time I travel I re-realize how retarded fiat is and how much better Bitcoin is than everything else.

I was in Greece for two weeks recently and I kept getting ripped off buying euros for usd with criminal “fees”. One time at a bank I had to fill out a form and write down the serial numbers of the 100s I was using to buy euros. Three times a card reader wouldn’t work.

All would have been avoided had we just transacted in sats the entire time. And all the vendors would’ve made 2-3% more and had final settlement in seconds. These times can’t come soon enough.
