It's gotta be because they still seem to think that our lack of ability to do as well as they did is due to budgetary problems, laziness and lack of discipline and drive 😏 when I've worked jobs on the same machine in the same position that used to be able to pay for a house, vehicle, a house wife and a couple kids with vacations. They've been out of the loop for so long they don't know what has changed. Especially since their pensions and social security have been raised to meet the cost of living increases each and every time so they haven't even gotten to experience the inflation the way we have where wages are stagnant and having to work longer and harder than anyone ever had in the history of humanity
