Replying to nobody

Setting up is not that hard, maintaining is.

As a person who realizes he missed lots of packages he needed to install way after setting up the OS, I couldn’t live with it. Ppl should know that Nix is tailored for the needs of servers, not the end users.

I'm fed up with Ansible and I can't figure out any other way to manage infrastructure as code. I'm at a point where I need to.

I'd recommend Guix over Nix.

Both communities are overrun with weird bigoted ideological zealots, but Guix at least uses Scheme instead of a weird DSL, and is a fully free GNU project.
