"Running" Bitcoin Core on a computer simply isn't enough.

You must use it to:

1. Verify incoming payments and wallet balances

2. Broadcast transactions.

In other words, you need to connect your wallet to your own Bitcoin node.

Sparrow Wallet makes this easier.
