Fountain 1.1.6 is now live on iOS and Android 📲

With this update we wanted to strengthen the foundations and ensure that playback functionality is solid before rolling out some exciting new features and user experience improvements in the coming weeks.

If you’ve been experiencing issues with playback on Fountain recently, there’s a good chance that they will be resolved in version 1.1.6. There's a full list of bug fixes in the blog post below.

The bottom nav now visible across most screens in the app. So if you’ve tapped on a comment in the home feed, then a profile, then some activity on their profile page, you can now easily go back to where you started by tapping the home icon in the bottom nav.

I would use fountain more but I’m not a fan of the UX. The app is way too busy for me. I still use Apple because it easy to navigate. I do most of my podcast listening in my car so episodes need to be easy to find and play. I hope you can make the app more user friendly!!

UX improvements to the library and content pages are in the pipeline - keep an eye out! Curious to know which screens in the app do you find too busy - we always want to simplify where we can.

I’m not a fan of the home page particularly. Too much going on, I instantly close the app.
