If you call to ask do they give you the info or do they just refer you to the website?

They put you on hold for "30-60" minutes. Haven't made it past that yet lol.
It's all over 800 bucks too. Of which I probably still owe 2 dollars of interest or something, but somehow they don't see I paid 800 3 weeks ago π€¦ββοΈ
It's whatever, I'll find a good time to sit on phone later, then take out my anger with passive aggressive interactions on phone. That'll teach them
What a shitty system
A lot of their staff quit or got early retirement over the past few months because of DOGE, so if youβre expecting better efficiency from that department, LOL.
This is hilarious ππ
Good news though! Going through paperwork and found a little gold mine of a pension from an old job. Looks like it's been performing quite nicely too. Yoink! That's getting withdrawn and moved into corn.
Great success! π
Another thing I recommend everyone do is see if your state is holding money for you that you might not be aware of. They are legally required to set aside any unclaimed funds from insurance plans, brokerages, or other financially regulated companies, but they donβt generally send out notices. You have to search their database for your name. Iβve gotten back a pretty good chunk of change this way a few times.
Funny you should mention. Got such a notice about a month ago. Amount not specified, and action by June or it goes to some other silo. Only action option was to email someone. It's been a month and no reply. Prob like 100 bucks, but now I'm motivated to follow up. Thanks for reminder!
