This bright red #cardinal has been sitting in a tree directly over my head as I’ve been gardening today, just singing his heart out.

Whoa. I just played that back while taking a break & the cardinal heard himself singing & flew right at me to see where the source was!

Now he’s sitting in a different tree a bit confused.

That’s so cool. We’ve had a pair of Peregrine Falcons and their offspring returning to the same tree behind our place for 3 years. One night I played the sound of a Peregrine from a YouTube video on full blast over the hot tub speakers and got a similar reaction.
