TLDR: more freedom!

I will try to publish new IPs on NNS (Nostr name system) for the relay that serves currently at address wss://e.nos.lol. Its just another way to discover where e.nos.lol IP is.

Here is a sample NNS note that was signed by an NSD (Nostr signing device):

{"id": "a5c234eda701518192656667eb710e39e745a7a14c7420f5fdb410738bd52d1a", "pubkey": "1ec6810f1ae144be134b9f34ab09336ab2cd2027294aaf26ea069303687eb097", "created_at": 1690383291, "kind": 30053, "tags": [["d", "e.nos.lol.nns."], ["ip4", "5.161.158.164"], ["version", "1"]], "content": "", "sig": "54f1291dfcb37528e586dac9475c8059c1addbc8150f1fb24fbad31721dec24746ae312777b707524242bf14560ec94db086ea047befb2fdcef704a0f3d404d5"}

I don't do this for nos.lol yet because NNS is still experimental.

I used an NSD because we need to keep the secret key safe for any NNS.

Sorry for using very similar acronyms!

e.nos.lol is running strfry 0.9.3.7 (latest version) and testing whether there are too much disk reads when the db is bigger than ram.

Very interesting!

Which #nostr clients support NNS right now?
