How lucrative is this? Can I even out in a year? I never mined bitcoin before but getting into mining for 150$ is a no brainer starter.
It really depends on your situation. What hinders your profits will be your electricity costs and the price you pay for the miner.
Off the top of my head, it’s not profitable to do this if your cost per kilowatt hour is more than $.10.
Unless you plan on HODL’ing then it’s going to be profitable at some point down the road. Definitely not in the first year.
