I feel like not many people would continue to use nostr if zaps weren't a thing. I would continue.

Just look at the success of bluesky or whatever, they don't even have a tipping system.

I have a perfect meme for this but I can't access my own amethyst gallery 😭😭😭

I do get your sentiment. It can feel like an obligation to mentally keep a running tally of balances between frequent zappers. Then there's the feeling sometimes of, "are they zapping me less often and getting one over on me?" All over 12 cents lol.

However, when my zapper is broken on rare occasion, I am annoyed and feel impotent.

It's interesting. Overall I like it. In time I'll probably reach a point where I save up for "bigger" ones for things that count. Majority right now is just pushing pennies back and forth to the same 5 people lol

It was better when I set up the thing where you can just tap and zap. But it stopped working (as is the way lol) and I don't care enough to figure it out again. So it like opens up a thing asking me which wallet I want to use. Then I have to open the wallet, then i have scan my finger and by that time I simply hate everything even more.
