Haven't got a rotary hoe? There's a solution for that.

I've got a great little 2 stroke rotary hoe but it needs some work to get it going again and I just haven't had the time so I was looking for another way to get this new garden underway.

Gave the blade on the edger a sharpen with the angle grinder and then hit the new garden bed with it, it's not the same as the rotary hoe but it's saved a lot of time with a shovel!
