Has anyone tried teaching Bitcoin to kids through their sports teams?

I’ve been thinking about a simple program where every player gets an OpenDime at the start of the season — their first real Bitcoin wallet.

As the season goes on, they earn sats for goals, assists, and effort — small Lightning rewards that make Bitcoin tangible.

They see how proof-of-work → proof-of-reward feels in real life.

By the end of the season, they’ve not just played hockey — they’ve learned money.

Hard work. Scarcity. Saving. Self-custody.

Anyone doing something like this already?
