A complete accident! I tried to upload an image via coracle.social by pasting it from memory into the post. I’ve done this many times before, not sure what was different this time.

Its was a large image in blob text format

An image that I pasted from memory. It looked like the image data was dumped in twice, so I removed the second one before posting. Then all hell broke loose. I think coracle.social ended up dumping the raw binary data into the content. I’d try to replicate, but I don’t want to take nostr down again.

So the offending moves are: export to clipboard using excalidraw, upload from clipboard using coracle. I will avoid this in future.
