Surprised so far I haven't noticed anyone else using multiple separate keypairs. At least one for everyday use and one you keep more secure for extra verification purposes.

I wouldn't want to put this npub on a business card when the nsec has been entered in apps on my phone, you know? Would rather have a more secure key that I keep up to date with links to my other active accounts

Depending on what you mean by layers

if you mean multiple keys whitelisted for recovery then yes, if you mean multiple keys active under the same identity at the same time (without NIP-46/nsecBunker) then no
