It depends on the culture of your team. Choose words that accurately describe what is being done.

One problem I see is that when people say “UX” they really just mean the interface not the holistic experience which includes much much more than interface designs. UX just has too much baggage to be clarifying as a term. I think it’s just time to retire it.
