DCA can be done with or without credit. When I say cashflow I mean paying up front for any I buy using excess cash from my income sources. How you choose to make buys is a separate issue from whether or not you use credit.
Not really, as buying in regular intervals is typical for someone paying from cashflow, rather than taking out a large credit for a lump sum.
American tax law is fucked so I gave up on trying to keep up with DCA accounting, unfortunately. It's been easier for me to do large buys once a month. Hopefully things change, but we seem to make all the worst decisions before we do the right thing.
Once a month is DCA. I also do monthly.
