Indeed, from my experience, in my second month I noticed a large drop in my hunger, sometimes only feeling hungry once or twice a day, even when somewhat active. In 90 days I had lost about 3 inches off my waist, the first thing I noticed was my pants falling off and needing to tighten my belt and old clothes fitting again.
