I'm pretty sure that amount of concrete will outlast our sun. 🤣
Now, I'm not preaching for brutalism, even though WP8 is dancing closely with it, not even for minimalism, just because. I'm 100% for functionalism. It just happens that functionalism always ends up being very minimal.
"Form follows Function" is only true for me if you define "Function" as something like "Joy of Use", which integrates attractiveness and beauty.
On the scale of a screen the most pleasant apps to use are often relatively minimal.
Once you scale up to human size objects, buildings, cities, etc... that is not at all true though.
