I had to log into Twitter/X for a work related thing and... the sheer number of advertisements interspersed in the timeline is ridiculous. It's such a stark contrast to the Fediverse.

Meanwhile on Instagram (also for work) I had to delete the latest round of scammer spam messages. Blah. It's all so annoying and makes me want to help & protect the Fediverse that much more.
