This may not prove you wrong, but a majority of Texas voters will most likely cast a ballot sending him for a third term to the senate for 6 years with his fourth term re-election being a midterm year which means it is very unlikely he will face any serious challenge for 12 years. At that point he will be 66 years old and should ride off int the sunset like a good cowboy does.
